This popular OCN drama stars Jang Hyuk as Moo Jin-Hyuk and Lee Ha-Na as Kang Kwon-Joo. Both characters will team up to solve 112 calls.
Back then, Jin-Hyuk was a topnotch detective, but after his wife was murdered by a serial killer, his life went downhill. He started to live aimlessly. His only goal now was to find out who really killed his wife.
Meanwhile, Kwon-Joo works as a 112 call responder. Her father was killed while she was talking to him over the phone. Devastated that she was NOT able to identify who killed her father, she took a break from work. Soon, she came back to Korea as a voice profiler. She now supervises the "Golden Team" division and chooses to work with detective Jin-Hyuk to solve cases together in the hopes of finding the real perpetrator of their deceased family members.

Korean dramas are known to be sappy and sweet. Well-loved Kdramas never fail to make us laugh, cry, and swoon. Voice offers something unique because it does not follow the mainstream formulaic pattern. If want a Kdrama that's not the usual run-of-the-mill, this is it! Voice is very dark and twisted. It shows the viewers a very brutal way of maiming, killing, and dismembering people.
It's already a given fact that Jang Hyuk is a great actor, but I have to give credit to the main antagonist. (I won't spoil who he is!) He did an excellent job playing a deranged psychopath. I hope he will portray more villainous roles in the future because it really suits him. His acting was really convincing. If he hadn't played his role well, I believe Voice would not be as successful.
I love how each episode has its own case, but the writers were able to flawlessly weave it to the main plot. The cliffhangers at the end of each episode will make you beg for the next. Voice is the ideal series to binge watch if you have all day to spare. Do not start watching this late at night because it would not let you sleep until you figure out who the killer is. It's that good! You just can't stop and resume it some other time. You will be craving for more until you have finished entire series. Some people don't like how it ended, but personally, I am satisfied with the ending. I highly recommend Voice for anyone who wants an eerie and spine-tingling series!
I just regretted that it took me so long to watch Voice. Why didn't I watch this sooner?
Voice was able to take serial killing a notch higher! I thought I've seen it all, but Voice was able to surprise me with unexpected twists and turns. Congratulations OCN for producing crime dramas like Voice. No one scene was ever boring! I was always on the edge of my seat!
Voice was able to showcase humanity's violent and psychopathic tendencies. It will make you sick thinking about the wickedness and craziness of some people. Just prepare yourself to handle raw violence, bloodshed, and gruesome murders. It's very disturbing yet addicting at the same time!
